Jeannette O'Conner, Managing Partner at Woodside Park Strategies

Jeannette O'Connor

Managing Partner

Jeannette founded Woodside Park Strategies to help mission-driven organizations tell their stories, move hearts and minds, and advance meaningful change. She brings a collaborative spirit and deep expertise in strategy, messaging, and advocacy to her work with foundations, nonprofits, and academic institutions.

Prior to launching Woodside Park Strategies, Jeannette led national campaigns to expand health care access and improve outcomes for children and families. At the Children’s Defense Fund, she helped drive state adoption of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) and launched the organization’s first California office. She also co-directed the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Covering Kids Campaign, connecting families to SCHIP enrollment nationwide.

She began her career in political organizing, serving as a regional political director at EMILY’s List and the AFL-CIO, and has since applied that experience to a wide range of issues—from child welfare and Civic engagement to homelessness,  and economic justice.

Jeannette is also committed to community-level change. She has served on the boards of Voices for Children Montgomery, MyMCMedia, and Community Bridges, and is a founding member of the Lever Fund.
