Beth is a strategic communications consultant with more than 25 years of experience in messaging development, media relations, and issue advocacy to drive social change. Using her expertise in storytelling, coalition building, and advocacy, she has led multiple national public awareness campaigns for nonprofits, public agencies, and foundations on issues ranging from Alzheimer’s awareness and transportation safety to homelessness and infrastructure improvement.
Prior to private practice, Beth served at the advertising agency Earle Palmer Brown managing the launch of the U.S. Treasury Department’s electronic savings bonds campaign. As director of the Office of Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury during the Clinton Administration, she served as a spokesperson with national media. Beth directed media relations and launched a national awards show at the National Association of Police Organizations. She began her career at the Brady Campaign Against Gun Violence supporting passage of the landmark Brady Bill legislation.
Beth serves on the board of the Capitol View Park Historical Society and Washington, D.C. PEO Chapter AA. As president of the Capitol View Park Citizens Association, she led pedestrian safety efforts for her neighborhood sidewalk and established an annual fundraiser benefiting A Wider Circle.
